1st Night of Racing PDF Print E-mail
Wow, what a night.  It was cold but also fun!  We were so glad to see many riders coming from Ga and Al.  Even though there was an NBL race in Morristown, we still had 17 motos.  The only slow up was when the new 2010 MotoMaker loaded, it didn't put ANY of your new district numbers in the system. I had to manually enter them and save each one.  Next week will go smootherWink !

Please let us know when you or your kid moves up in class. ABA STATES IT'S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO LET US KNOW SO YOU WILL BE LISTED IN THE RIGHT CLASS. YOU MAY LOSE YOUR POINTS FOR THAT RACE IF YOU TURN INTERMEDIATE OR EXPERT AND RACE AS A NOVICE OR INTERMEDIATE.  WE WILL ALSO ADD NAMES TO THE "WALL OF FAME" WHEN YOU TURN EXPERT--SO  PLEASE LET ME KNOW.  Congratulations to Caleb Ross and Max Trew on winning 8 races and moving up to Intermediate!  Good luck boys!

Those of you who have been members of any ABA track anywhere in the country know that you can NEVER ride on the track without a helmet. There should never be an excuse to not have one on because you all know we have loaner helmets to borrow for the day. If you are new to the sport, just find one of the adults and they will find either Randy or myself, and we will get you a helmet for the day.

WEARING A HELMET WHILE RIDING A BIKE HAS BEEN SHOWN TO REDUCE RISK OF HEAD INJURY BY 85% AND RISK OF BRAIN INJURY BY AS MUCH AS 88%. THEY ALSO OFFER SUBSTANTIAL PROTECTION FOR THE FOREHEAD AND MIDFACE.

 THE QUICKEST WAY FOR US TO UPDATE TRACK CONDITIONS IS THRU THE ANSWERING MACHINE AT THE TRACK. PLEASE CALL 423-559-9562 IF IT'S A RACE DAY AND RACE CONDITIONS ARE QUESTIONABLE. IF YOU DON'T REALIZE IT, THE POSITION OF TRACK OPERATOR IS VOLUNTEER. WE ARE NOT PAID FOR DOING THIS. WE BOTH HAVE BUSINESSES THAT MAKE IT TO WHERE WE AREN'T ABLE TO GET HOME AND UPDATE THE WEBSITE QUICK ENOUGH TO LET YOU KNOW IF THE RACE IS CALLED OFF DUE TO THE TRACK NOT DRYING OUT QUICK ENOUGH FOR THAT NIGHTS RACE. WE KNOW STATISTICALLY MORE PEOPLE ARE ABLE TO CALL THE HOTLINE THAN THOSE WHO HAVE 24 HOUR ACCESS TO THE INTERNET.
