Prizes will be awarded for top fund raisers here at Bradley Co BMX. Austin Veach ranked 3rd in fundraising with USA BMX last year raising over $1500 - can you top him this year?

***RIDER CLINICS***
Black Crown will be hosting a Rider Clinic on May 19 before our Race for Life. Sign up between 3:30-4:00 and the clinic will be from 4:00-6:00. $20. On-track training and instruction with our factory team riders. Register at the track the day of the clnic.
Stile Industries will host "How to Race BMX Clinic" on Monday, June 4. Registration 6:00-6:30 and the clinic will be from 6:30-9:00. $30. Team of instructors will teach you the techniques it takes to win. This clinic covers all the basics and more advanced skills for success at BMX racing. Register at the track by May 31st and get a TRANSIT DVD! Clothing & DVDs will be on sale at the clniic
We look forward to gate practice on Tuesday, May 15 from 6:30-8:00. Concessions will be available for drinks and snacks as well. Next race on Saturday, May 19 RACE FOR LIFE- Registration 6:30-7:30. First time racers needing to purchase a membership can be assisted during registration time as well as riders needing to renew existing memberships. See you there!
What is the Race For Life?
It all started in 1981 when an avid 12 year old BMX racer from Michigan discovered he had Leukemia. Todd Kingsbury was his name, and like many BMXers, he had dreams of someday becoming a top pro in the sport. Unfortunately, this dreaded disease would keep Todd from fulfilling his dream.
When Todd`s friends and the American Bicycle Association learned of his diagnosis, it was decided that an organized effort should be made to help in Todd`s "Race for Life." The first ABA "Race for Life" events were formed that year, with over 130 tracks participating and raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® .
Ever since, the ABA has held a series of "Race for Life" events nationwide to help in the fight to find a cure for blood-related cancers. There are awards given to top fund raisers which include t-shirts, jackets and trips to the ABA Grandnationals of BMX.
